I've been furious for weeks now over Google Blog's decision to censor its blogger's musings by forcing them to delete all photos of the human body that aren't being shown for "clinical" or "scientific" purposes. Yes, I know that they rescinded this foolishness, but not before many bloggers left the site and/or tore their own blogs apart in an effort to satisfy the "morality police". Before I came to my senses, I myself deleted two of my favorite blog entries which contained pictures that clearly would have been deemed undesirable. I'm ashamed that I did that and that I can no longer share them with others (or even view them myself) because I allowed myself to be bullied. It won't happen in the future.
Google Blog has clearly lied to us all along when they say that they don't review the content of our blogs. How can I trust them in the future? Why bother to spend the time writing at all if Google can decide that their morality is better than ours and reverse themselves again by wiping out what we want to share? I just don't trust them anymore.
So, what to do? I've considered going to another blog site and/or just deleting this one. I've considered just ignoring the whole episode and going on as before. Many, many people have viewed my blog and many are regular commentors. I don't like the thought of just shutting down, but I just haven't decided whether or not to put any more effort into this blog on this blog location.
While I consider my options, let me just give a brief update to what's been going on. Karl continues his monthly adventure as my slave for 3 or 4 days. We have had many discussions in the periods in between his slavery and subdom, and have made certain adjustments. He no longer goes to Patsy's house as her handmaiden, though he has served her in different capacities at our home, as is the case with Vanessa. Both have been invited to lunch or for card games while Karl is in slave mode, and he has waited on (and at times, worshipped) all of us as a slave should. I have curtailed my search for a newbie sub, finding that these slave sessions have satisfied whatever "need" I had for re-training. In a very real sense, I am re-training Karl, and enjoying it immensely. Karl, in turn, is extremely happy with our turn of events and has strongly hinted that he could use even more time as my slave. I'm giving it some thought, though I fear that too much of a good thing might just spoil it.
For those of you who expressed some concern that I would go too far in my whip wielding persona, let me assure you that the corporal punishment situation has not gotten out of control. Karl has no permanent scars, and I do believe that we've reached a happy, if sometimes painful (for him), basis for "correction". I'll go into this more in the future if I decide to continue with this blog.
In the meantime, let me express my thanks to all who have followed me and commented. I will be in touch.

I think blogger has changed the policy back to what it was before so you can probably repost what you deleted. And it's interesting to see how you are re-training Karl. Hope you will update us on your progress. And don't worry about spanking him too hard. Long,hard spankings are a good way to train him.

If you do decide to shut down this blog, please let us know beforehand so that we can know where it is being moved to, or where you will be writing again. If neither is the case, let us know anyway. You are so right My Lady to be upset at censorship. What business is it of Google or any body else for that matter to pass judgement on the free exchange of ideas? Its disgiusting. I have read your blog postings faithfully for some time. I will follow you wherever you decide to blog. If you do decide to move, please let people know where you can be found. Glad that you find your more enhanced domination of Karl is something which satisfies you. Glad that you both have discovered a new level of dominance and submission. Thank you as always for sharing. Its so important to understand what other people are going through.

I have wanted to try more things on my hubby and you have given me guidance and made me feel that things that we do are normal and not totally weird. My husband would love to do the slave training and I have felt that it could lead to me not loving him as my husband but more like a possession.. Like a dog. Anyway I hope that you don't quit blogging because you 2 have so much more that you can teach us. Take care and please don't stop blogging as it means so much to us that are wanting to expand our horizons and moving on to newer ideas and lifestyle changes. Thanks again. Pam

ReplyDeleteI to was appalled with Google, it's bullying, purity censorship dictate was totally against the right for freedom of speech. Certainally on the Internet people have the choice to read or not any article published. I know some blogs (not yours Ma'am) are offensive to me; but I still believe these bloggers should be allowed to write. Once the cencership politically correct brigade get their way we all suffer.
After all in the late 1930's didn't a small strange little chap ban books and pictures; followed by banning people and we all know where that ended. Restricting images and material can and has led to far worse acts than the words and graphics ever could have caused.
I implore you to keep your blog going, I've enjoyed it; Karl's a lucky boy.
Please consider if you leave, have they won by default? And what Mistress wants to be told what to do?

Pam - I do appreciate your comments, and I don't feel that having Karl as a slave has in any way changed my view of him as a man or a husband or even a lover.
Having a man willingly enslave himself is, to me at least, an indication of the very high level of love, trust and adoration he feels for me. His ability to think and reason and then make such a CHOICE is not at all "doglike". As always, it's mutual consent that makes the difference, but if you feel it will make your husband like a dog to you, you'd be well advised to think carefully about taking such a step. Talk it over with him, let him know your misgivings, and make certain that if you do try it, it can quickly be changed if the effect is not what you want. You might be very surprised at how the experience actually makes you feel, but you'll never know unless you try.
m - I agree, of course, and I do appreciate your words saying that they win if I leave. I just can't escape the feeling that Big Brother Google is watching. Much to think about.

If you still have the material, on a word document or if someone else has it (perhaps you could post a request for deleted blog posts to be sent to an email address or something) then even if Blogger doesn't allow you to repost in the original order, you could always label it a repost.
