A REFERRAL

I'd like to request of my readers that they check out the blog http://furcissy.blogspot.com/.  Do not let its title dissuade you, as it is much, much more than a blog about sissyness.  I've been reading it for over 6 years now, and commenting on it, as well as receiving many comments in return.  The blog's author is highly intelligent, exceedingly well read on the BDSM concept (and much more), and capable of thoughtful commentaries.

It's well worth reading the early blog entries as well as his latest incredibly personal insights into his own experiences.   Consider this an unabashed  "commercial" for the blog, and I hope "fur" forgives me for asking this of you.  No doubt he's blushing, as he certainly didn't request that I do this referral.  Do look it over, and please comment as well.  No author likes working in a vacuum, so I urge you to read it and respond to it.

  1. Thank you so very much, Lady Grey, this really means a lot to me. I did blush a little when I read this post.

  3. Anon - I've been sharing my lifestyle on this blog for about 6 years now. Just what do you want to know? Are you asking about my non-Dom life? Simply put, it's really none of your business. If what I reveal is not enough, I suggest you seek greener pastures.

  4. I am not asking about your non-Dom life, and why would you reply in such a bad way, i asked why you don't share more about your lifestyle (i meant the femdom lifestyle), i wrote a friendly comment, your reply is very rude.

  5. Lady Grey, come on,lol, dont be so harsh on the poor anonymous. He is just expressing what many of us are thinking. :-) You have so interesting stuff to share. When I first found your blog, I was young and naive, I could not believe that you are experiencing all these "stories". I have been around long enough by now to "know" that these things can and do happen, and I am looking very much forward to any new update on your blog.

Sorry for rambling along, lol, I think my point is: Thank you for sharing these aspects of your life with us.

    Greetings from Germany
    Tina

  6. Lady Grey, you have a wonderful blog. It is a cut above the usual, and wife finds you a great inspiration. We both wished you posted more often, but are grateful for what you do post. Thank you.

  7. anon - Now how was I supposed to know what you "meant"? Did you qualify your message in that way? I think not, and I felt it implied that I just wasn't giving you enough information about other aspects of my life. After 6 years of blogging, it simply struck a bad note with me. Sorry you felt it was rude, but all I can say is "likewise".

lawyer - Nice to hear from you, Tina. I post when I can and when I feel I have something interesting to say. The muse is not always working, but I'll do my best to keep up with the updates.

eMs sub - Thanks for the kind words. I do wish I could write more, and I'll do my best to post more often.

  8. Lady Grey, all i said was, i like your blog like many others and i wish you'd update it more often, i said nothing rude, my ex was like you, whenever i said something that could mean 2 things, she always assumed the worst, try to change that, people don't like it.

  9. It's just so cool to see you writing again and sharing your perspective. It's your blog and you're doing it your way. I also respect that you only write when inspired to do so. There's a lot of white sound out there. And I particularly like the way that you include Karl's perspective. It brings home that behind the dynamic is a real relationship with two self aware and bright people. I for one appreciate your willingness to allow us onto your world.

  10. Rob Barnes - Thank you Rob. I think it's important to report on Karl's reactions, thoughts, etc. After all, he is the recipient of my often evil deeds, and his responses and feelings are very important to the entire dynamic that we share. Our verbal feedback sessions have helped to keep this a positive experience.

  11. BTW, Ma'm, I have been corresponding with furcissy. We seem to enjoy each other's writings. In his latest post he mentions you as one of his first supporters. As I told him in a comment, I don't have many followers, but I would be honored if you would be one of mind. I hope this was not to forward.

    best,

    eMs sub

  15. Just a few things I'd like to chime in with.

Thank you again so very much, Lady Grey. It means so very much to me. You have been my biggest supports over the years and getting your public endorsement means the world to me. I've had a spike in traffic and picked up at least 5 new followers since this post went up.

eMs sub, it has been a joy interacting with you. Your blog is very well written and while some of it is a bit "harsh" for my tastes, your way with words has me wavering on a few things I previously didn't even consider. Keep it up.

Miss Lily, it's been a pleasure interacting with you on both of our blogs. New blogs are so exciting and I've enjoyed it a lot.

Tina, I have followed your blog for years as well. I used to comment there, but I remember you not agreeing with my comments very much (~2012) so I pulled back into the role of spectator. I still am a reader though.

A few things I would have to say about my blog and writing... I didn't want to be a sissy. It happened when I was broken by the Mistress I was with and with extensive conditioning over years it became part of my submissive identity. My blog goes all over the place... a lot of D/s philosophical discussion, self-discovery as a submissive, ideas on how to improve as a sub and positively impact a D/s lifestyle, and the like. There's also a bit of drawing, fantasy, and a tiny bit of erotic fiction. The majority of the "sissy" topics are in regards to forced feminization as a punishment and coping with and understanding the identity if this wasn't what you wanted. I try to respond to every comment I receive and I am open to suggestions for topics, ideas, etc. for what to write about next.

    In regards to Anon...
This may just be wishful thinking on my part and I do not wish to speak for Lady Grey, but I'm guessing with the timing of the comments that part of the reaction you received was that she may have been anticipating comments about this post, e.g. feedback on my blog rather than a request for more information from her.

Lady Grey makes about 6-8 posts a year. She writes more for other Women Dominants than for any subs. If you are hoping for more content, saying anything that might discourage the desire to write probably isn't a good thing. I think this blog is a true treasure, and as such, both its content and the author should be treasured. When a new post appears, I get super excited. Very few Dominants will give the same kind of insight into their planning and ideas in the lifestyle to this level, let alone respond to the people that comment. Please cherish it rather than discourage it.

Just a public service announcement for anyone that may be reading this in reference to future posts: Karl is an all-star submissive and loves his life. The earlier posts chronicling the early years of the relationship are no longer available but trust me when I say that he has passed every test with flying colors and has an amazing aptitude to adapt to and flourish in escalating situations. I have unwavering faith in him. If I remember correctly, journeying down the more extreme slave path was one of his fantasies and it happened to mesh with Lady Grey's desires as well.

  16. Lily - I've been reading your blog lately, and I enjoy it a great deal, as well as your back and forth with fur. I'm sure I'll be commenting on your entries soon. Keep up the good writing!

fur - I'm so glad that this referral has gained you new followers, but that's really your doing. After all, if they weren't intrigued by your writing, they wouldn't have become followers no matter what I've said. I've got a feeling that your newly blossoming work of fiction might garner you some more regular readers and commenters.

I let Karl read your public service announcement, and he blushed at being called an all star submissive. He does indeed love his life, and he sends his thank you along.

    1. Thank you, Lady Grey.

I'm glad Karl got a chance to read that. In most cases when I read a D/s blog I find myself thinking, "No, he should have done ______ instead. In most cases, Karl does exactly what I was thinking, the lone exception being when you were considering training a new sub to experience the early rush again. Every other time he has clnsistently met or exceeded what I would have envisioned as "ideal." I'm thinking that makes you proud and I don't think you could put him through escalating levels of hell without that kind of faith in him.

      Take care.
