FORNIPHILIA

"FORNIPHILIA" is a fancy word that someone came up with to describe the use of humans as furniture.  When it comes to matters of Subjugation, Objectification and Indifference, there is no better way for combining all three.  There are plenty of photos of this particular form of Femdom pleasure on the internet, but a surprising number of "female as furniture" images as well, with both male and female Doms using women as their objects.  I say surprising because in nearly all other aspects of D/s, femdoms greatly outnumber maledoms in cyberspace, and I just don't empathize with women who need to dominate other women.  To each her own, I suppose.

Well, my pleasure has nothing to do with females being dominated in any way, so I'll be using males as furniture for this blog entry, period.  I have written about this before, but that particular entry has been deleted, and some of my commenters have asked me to broach the subject once again.  I'll begin with a photo that I find particularly endearing:



Here we have an excellent example of a man being used as a coffee table.  His position with his back on the floor is a practical one, and allows him to retain his posture for long periods, as opposed to having him on hands and knees in a "pushup" position that is much harder to maintain.  His elbows are pulled together somewhat, and seem to rest on his body, which gives him more stability.  The blindfold keeps out any extraneous things, but I personally prefer to have him able to see his situation, especially the classic indifference of his Dom.  Also, if it were my husband Karl (which it often is) he'd probably be wearing nipple clamps and have a rope attached to his ball collar that I could tug at will.  I sometimes attach one end of the rope to my foot, which has a habit of twitching at regular but unpredictable moments.  And, of course, I'd have a crop or switch handy just to make sure he wasn't bored.

The next photo shows the sub in a modified pushup position, in that he has a solid base that allows him to stay in his role as coffee table indefinitely:



I like the rope work shown here, as he paints a pretty picture as his Dom goes about her business.  I can't see whether he is blindfolded or not, but I'd suggest a shoe or two attached to his head so that the aroma can keep him company.

A male is often used as a chair under a Dom's body, but that can be quite uncomfortable after extended periods - for the Dom.  The uneveness of the male's body can have his chin or knees in awkward positions that prove quite bothersome for a Dom who just needs a comfy resting place.  In this photo, the Dom has cleverly avoided that situation, and I can see no reason that she'd be uncomfortable spending all day or evening using her male to support her in a style he's surely not accustomed to.  What fun she seems to be having!  See below:




One can imagine that her shoes will probably come off as the day progresses, and she'll have a very handy foot worshiper at her beck and call.

Below is a photo I've used before.  This is a position that husband Karl is quite familiar with, though I usually have a phone in my hand for extended calls to my friends:




The big difference in our case is that he's usually hogtied with his wrists attached to his ankles.  Keeps him under just the right amount of tension and doesn't affect his ability to carry the weight as the time passes...and passes....and passes...

The whole concept of forniphilia rests on the idea of using your sub as an object.  He is totally subjugated and dehumanized and in no doubt as to his relative worth in the D/s dynamic.  That's a valuable lesson for him, and the fact that he's nothing more than a useful or decorative piece of furniture for extended periods helps his mindset remain in its proper place.  Below is yet another common example:



Here the male is a footrest and an ashtray holder.  He's naked and powerless and will undoubtedly be trying desperately to maintain his balance and his strength to satisfy his Dom.  I'm sure she knows that he will eventually not be able to maintain his position, and who knows what fate awaits him when he does collapse?  Makes me tingle just to think of it.

Finally, in a bow to the modern age, we have a male serving his Dom as a computer stand:



I think this image is generated by a computer as well, and how nice that the modern world can create such images.  I do like the situation his cock finds itself in, as well as the handy spot for her crop.  I'm sure she'd be quite pleased to leave him in this configuration for a long time as she uses her computer on and off during the day or night.  Let's give a hand to modern uses of the male!
